    2015 Taste of Devon, Cornwall & Wales 10 Days / 9 Nights

    Day 1: Dublin Arrival & Taylor’s Three Rock
    Your Irish trip starts at 5:00 pm when you meet your tour director at your Dublin hotel for a welcome drink. Head to Taylor’s Three Rock Pub for dinner with a lively traditional show. Before that, explore Dublin on an open-top bus tour, plus a visit to Guinness or Jameson.

    Day 2: Dublin & Book of Kells
    Spend the morning on a guided tour of Dublin to view elegant Georgian townhouses and brightly painted doors. Join a student guide on a brief walk through Trinity College’s campus to view the illuminated manuscript of the Book of Kells. The afternoon is free for independent activities and dining.

    Day 3: Ferry to Wales & Conwy
    Take a short ferry ride from Dublin to Holyhead in North Wales and drive to the town of Conwy. Tour Conwy Castle, a huge 13th century fortification built by King Edward I. Take a guided walk around the walled town with its quaint streets and houses and see the smallest house in Britain on the waterfront.

    Day 4: Snowdonia & Brecon Beacons
    Travel through Snowdonia National Park to view the highest peaks in Wales and continue through the center of the country with thriving farms and towns. Cross the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park. Tour Cardiff Castle and dine at a fun Welsh banquet with local entertainment.

    Day 5: Roman Baths & Plymouth
    This morning head east to tour the Roman Baths and Pump Room, renowned for the mineral-rich hot springs and wonderfully preserved after two millennia. Arrive in Plymouth, where Pilgrim Fathers sailed from in 1620. Today this is a vibrant waterfront city. Check in to your hotel, close to the harbor.

    Day 6: Explore Cornwall & Land’s End
    Browse around the typical Cornish village of Mevagissey, a fishing village with a colorful history of boat-building and smuggling. Drive to Land’s End, the most westerly point of Britain. View the majestic outline of St. Michael’s Mount, an important pilgrimage destination, and return to your hotel.

    Day 7: Stonehenge & Windsor Castle
    Drive to Salisbury Plain to marvel at the prehistoric circle of vast monoliths of Stonehenge. Continue to Windsor to visit Windsor Castle, residence of The Queen and the largest inhabited castle in the world. After dinner take a brief walking tour around the compact historic town.

    Day 8: Extend Your Tour to London for Two Days
    Today transfer a short distance to London where the balance of the day is free. You may start to use your open-top bus tour voucher, if you wish.

    Day 9: Tower of London & City Sights
    Today schedule your London sightseeing as you wish on an open-top bus tour. You may choose to stay on the bus for the complete circuit or get off and on at various places of interest along the route. There are different bus routes as well as a walking tour and a River Thames cruise. Visit either the Tower of London or Kensington Palace. You are free to choose a restaurant to dine independently.
